LHS Politics

This has been the most important year in the Untied States since 9/11. The presidential election has sparked an expolsion of politcal awareness amongst the youth of the nation on all levels of the political spectrum. This blog is a snapshot of this phenomenon. A select group of students at Lakeside High School express and discuss their political beliefs in a healthy organized fashion.

Wasting time? I just posted the vid to share some good laughs. I could relate it to politics if you want me to[on how McCain may be senile], but i don’t want to start a fued over something trivial that I admit was a simple mistake. In regards to the robbery, yeah that was pretty bad. People who use politics as a means to harm others is terrible. A lot of stuff like this has happened all over the country this election. Here’s a man who was shot three times for wearing an Obama shirt:

Its this kind of useless violence that takes away from the awesomeness of America. The United States is notable for being a country where changes in political power occur peacefully and without significant controversy. In many countries this is not a reality. But here’s a question:

Were these crimes about politics, or were rather racially motivated?

I don’t think that these events have anything to do with the issues, but were just hate crimes committed under the smokescreen of politics.
