This has been the most important year in the Untied States since 9/11. The presidential election has sparked an expolsion of politcal awareness amongst the youth of the nation on all levels of the political spectrum. This blog is a snapshot of this phenomenon. A select group of students at Lakeside High School express and discuss their political beliefs in a healthy organized fashion.

Alex you ideal world is never going to exist
I know that… I am not idiotic. I was just giving my ideals. They are not practical and they make me probably a fool of an idealist, but I would rather be a fool with some hope that good in humanity outweighs the bad then to revert to some sort of pessimism where I can’t even find that ray of hope. We live in a beautiful world, and we are capable of such beauty as a species and it is what I hope for even if it is unlikely.
