LHS Politics

This has been the most important year in the Untied States since 9/11. The presidential election has sparked an expolsion of politcal awareness amongst the youth of the nation on all levels of the political spectrum. This blog is a snapshot of this phenomenon. A select group of students at Lakeside High School express and discuss their political beliefs in a healthy organized fashion.

Emily Brown

Hey y’all! I’m Emily.  I’m 17 years old.  I’m white though other people may argue that I look kinda Asian.  I am a Republican and am extremely conservative.  I strongly believe in personal responsibility.  My father is a lawyer for the U.S. government and my mother is a librarian at an elementary school.  We are what is considered middle class and what is happening now in the politics mainly affects my family.  I lived out in Gwinnett until I was 13 years old and then we moved out into this area.  My schools back at my old house were mostly all white so when I moved out here, it was a huge change :)  I’ve been dating Jacob for like 2 years now and it’s strange because we do have different views in politics so that’s a change. I can’t really think of anything else to say about myself :)
